The course is designed for participants who want to understand how companies can improve the way they manage their innovation processes to develop new products and services.

The course provides a practical and case-study approach to innovation management across a wide range, including: manufacturing, services, small and large organizations, and both the private and public sectors.

The course focuses on the real tasks and activities of an entrepreneur/manager who wants to be up to date with the latest developments in the field of innovation.

Transfer of knowledge on the basic concepts of innovation, entrepreneurship and business venture management, which are necessary to develop more advanced knowledge and skills in all areas of innovation management theory and practice.

Acquiring the skills of critical analysis, interpretation and assessment of innovative phenomena and activities on various scales, the impact of the environment, in particular on the technological and business development of enterprises. Raising social competences preparing for work in a team and organization.

Tutor
Jacek Gancarczyk, Ph.D

Dr Jacek Gancarczyk works at the Department of E-entrepreneurship and Innovation, Institute of Entrepreneurship of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. His research, publications and consultancy focus on entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), regional development, innovation networks and systems, and clusters. He has experience in national and international (EU, USA, Japan) research projects (Erasmus+ Jean Monnet/EURIPER, EuroFound, USAID/USIA, Sasakawa), both as a partner and coordinator. He is a member of the European Council of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB).

Organization of classes

Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 9.00-16.30 once a month for 4 months. The course is conducted online.
